Indian Tourist and Business visa to Chinese in two days to boost Indian Tourism. In a survey done by Ministry of External Affairs & Ministry of Tourism, India in 2012 it was estimated that over six lacs Indian visited to China, whereas in comparison only a lakh Chinese tourist visited to Indian in the same period as mentioned above.
A splendid cultural festival in China ahead, India took this friendly step and announced a new visa policy to streamline under which Indian Tourist & Business visa to Chinese will be processed within 2 days to encourage Chinese Visitors to visit India in the form of Tourist & Business visitors.
The Embassy of India & Ministry of External Affairs has bought this 2 days processing timeline to boost the Chinese visitors to India and encourage Indian tourism. The Indian Embassy will take 2 days to issue Indian Tourist & Business visa from the date of submission with immediate effect without any extra visa fee.

During press conference with Indian & Chinese journalists Mr. Ashok K Kantha said, over 6 lakhs visited china in 2012 as against only 1 lakh visited china. To boost & promote Indian Tourism they had taken this friendly step. When asked about the general elections of India, Mr. Kantha said that we cannot predict the results of the general elections happened but the elected party will continue to attach same amount of importance to building friendly relationship with China.
During the releasing of “Glimpse of India” Logo at press release Mr. Kantha mentioned that he don’t see any alteration in the direction about the policy introduced seeking a close engagement and friendship with China. It will further will enhance and strengthen strong relationship between two countries defense relationship. The Glimpse of India festival had in May and also would be held in 12 cities in China at regular intervals during this year. During this year couple of Bollywood stage shows, Indian Arts will be perform and an Exhibition displaying modern Indian Art, heritage exchanges including food festival at both places in Indian & China.
Adding to the above Mr. Kantha said that this year two countries will share & hold annual military exercise in India. The INS Shivalik Indian Naval Ship will also took part during this year in the 65th anniversary celebrations of the Chinese navy function this year, and also both countries agreed to share series of exchanges during the visit of Chinese Defense Minister this year in the second half.
And at the end during press conference Mr. Kantha add a closing note that both countries will pay attention special focus on promoting Economic & Commercial links and two way tourist flows.
