Malaysia Introduced Visa on Arrival (VoA) for Indians
In continuation to the post of Visa on Arrival for Indians, already Indians have Visa on Arrival facility to 38 Countries. Effective 01st January 2014 Malaysia introduced Visa on arrival (VoA) for Indians tourists to visit Malaysia via Singapore and Thailand, which came to a total of 39 countries. Indian tourist should have a valid visa and confirmed return ticket to India and who is travelling to Singapore and Thailand can now avail this Visa on Arrival (VoA) facility in Malaysia with ease, as India is a major contributor for inbound tourism to Malaysia. Malaysian government this scheme to welcome more Indians touring this 2014 as Visit Malaysia Year (VMY 2014) and year of festivals 2014. Indian tourist can avail this new facility at all major international airports in Malaysia like Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Low Cost Terminal LCCT (KLIA), Penang International Airport, Sultan Ismail International Airport, Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu International Airport, Sabah and Kuching International Airport.
Visa on Arrival Fee
Indian tourist can avail this facility at all major international airports in Malaysia by paying a prescribed fee of USD100 or MYR 330, provided Indian tourist should have a valid visa and confirmed return ticket.
Passengers should find a catch in this. The catch is Visa on Arrival (VoA) facility can be used by only those tourist Indians who are travelling to Malaysia via Singapore and Thailand (it means passenger should come for a third country).
