What is a Consulate:
To say in general terms Consulate in mini version of Embassy and in general located more than one state of respective country where Embassy is established. Consulates are opened mostly in tourist places where people mostly travel from, but Consulate cannot be established in Capital City. In Consulates the person who is in charge are known as Consular’s and entrusted with different jobs in consulate. The consular’s responsibilities may extend up to decision authority of the consulate.
What is a High Commission:
It is a alternative word of Embassy. Where all the Commonwealth countries representatives like above call them as “High Commissioner” & “Deputy High Commissioners”. The High Commission act like a Embassy or Consulate in case of emergency like arrests, hospitalization or loss of passports.
